Comfort Ring Sizing
Yes even the width of a ring can affect sizing.
Comfort ring sizing. A typical jewelry store will have ring sizers that come in 2 different millimeters. This type of fitting is defined as a ring that is domed in. For instance if your standard ring size is 13 your comfort fit ring size will be 12 5.

At the risk of being too brief and too simple i am going to suggest as a general rule of thumb that you size down a 1 4 to 1 2 size when purchasing a ring that you know to be a comfort fit ring. Another thing you can do to make sure you have the best fit visit a local jewelry store. This is simply a general recommendation not a hard rule.
For rings that are wider than 8 mm it is not recommended to go down half a size because rings wider than 8 mm fit tighter. Comfort fit is newer and not as well known as standard fit. Getting our ring sizer or getting sized by a jeweler for comfort fit in the width you would like are your best options to hit a slam dunk on sizing.
